Surprise of all the extra services on my Electric bill was not aware of all the charges added to my usage left message with the company waiting for a callback to get this resolved

All these added charges like transmission, benefit, more than one delivery charge not understanding why it wasnt told about that, my bill is extremely high for a senior citizen living in a home by yourself my usage was exactly what I thought it would be but all the other charges were ridiculous this needs to be addressed by a representative so we are aware of the current charges and put on a monthly payment plan for everyone to feel comfortable with our living arrangements. I sent this email to someone at Eversource and pissed consumer and Eversource decided not to read it.

Is this how a public utility should treat us?

I would like to make a suggestion. When your company is doing work on the street and going to block off the driveways, would it hurt that they leave a note on the door stating that fact. I live on Marion Street, Natick. and had to speak to 3 people to have them move their equipment.

in order for me to pick up my friend that had day surgery. The next day I left my car at the end of the driveway in order to get to work. That day when I returned, I could not get into my driveway and the comment was you should have been here an hour ago there was *** Is this how you treat your customers? Just thought you should know, and I am not the only one on my street that was disgusted with your customer service.

I was holding for 20 minutes only to be told that I called Massachusetts ever source they transferred me to ct and after another 20 minutes they said I have the wrong department and transferred me again and then no one picked up the phone. This was very frustrating

Excessive electric charges

In the interest of my pocketbook and the environment, I added solar to my electric. Given my age, I would never amortize a purchase, so I am leasing.

The savings initially were good even with the monthly lease fee however, with these ridiculous, selfish increases (so the hierarchy can line their pockets) the advantages of solar are slowly eroding especially when you factor in my fixed monthly lease fee. The push for solar is and was a scam. Think about the fact the less we need to purchase off the grid, they more they can cry to our elected officials that instead of a 3-million-dollar bonus they will only get a $2,999,000 bonus.

So the board votes to allow the increase (mind you, there are executives from Eversource "helping" to steer the ship in that decision). CT residents are so screwed and the state needs to offer other competing options to get this under control.

Eversource is the worst utility ever! Now as a senior I have to pay for people that donโ€™t pay their bills, when was I ever asked about this, Iโ€™m just forced to pay!

Terrible service

This is truly one of the worst companies I've ever encountered. Starting new service?

Ok there's an option to do that on the website. I try. Doesn't work. Ok I call them.

Says I need to upload documents. Ok. A day later, it failed. Please upload more documents.

Ok. A day later, it is accepted. Ok. So surely I can start service now right?

Nope doesn't work. I call them again. Ok now it finally works. I ask for a confirmation email.

They say I will receive it shortly after the call is over. I never got an email.

Only good part is the person on the phone was not rude.

Removal of hardship and reinstatement of retail supplier

I am trying to upload 2 documents and it will not recognize my address not allowing me to submit them to you. I have also emailed these documents to hardship@***.com and contacted you here.

I also had an internal message sent by an Eversource employee for customer service to contact me asap. As you can see I have reached out multiple times in multiple ways trying to resolve my situation as soon as possible.

Below is a copy of the email I sent to hardship@***.com explaining my situation when I sent my hardship removal consent form.

Hello,

Attached is my consent to remove the hardship status from my account in order to participate with my original retail supplier Constellation.

I signed up for the hardship program this December. I spoke to Catrina in the Credit Depart. on 12/7 who updated my house hold size and verified nobody in my house was on Husky.

She then said she emailed my information to her supervisor. I did not hear from her so I called back on 12/11.

12/11/23 I spoke to Mary in the Credit Depart. who also verified my house hold size and nobody was on Husky and that Catrina emailed my information to her supervisor and told me to call back on 12/13/23.

12/13/23 called and spoke to Melissa in the credit depart. when she had her supervisor send my information to the back office.

She later left a message for me on my phone telling me my information was approved and I would see a 10% discount on my bill.

Imagine my surprise when I get an email from Constellation telling me my contract with them I had until Dec. 2024 had been cancelled by Eversource on Dec. 16, active 12/20.

As you can see above not 1 of these employees told me that my retail supplier account would be cancelled and I would have to pay Eversource rates. Not 1 of them!

I am a single mom of 2, it does NOT make financial sense for me to give up a contract of 8.99 to save a small amount monthly. Had I been informed of this I would have never put hardship status on my account.

By speaking to Constellation several times now, I need to remove my hardship status and Eversource needs to unlock my account so they can then send a request to you for me to be REINSTATED (NOT RE-ENROLLED) in my original plan of 8.99 until Dec. 2024 that I was unknowingly cancelled out of. According to Constellation this all needs to be completed by 12/27/23 in order to keep my original contract.

Had Constellation not emailed me to let me know my account had been cancelled I would not have known until receiving my next bill that would have been twice the price even with the 10% discount.

At this point, I am incredibly upset with Eversource and spent probably a total of 2 hours today speaking to Devon in Billing, Brenda in the Credit department who could not help me and then passed me to Tina in the Customer Service Department who told me you could not reinstate me.

Clearly she does not understand the process as she would have known hardship needs to be removed and then a request sent by Constellation and that be approved.

Please remove my hardship status immediately and send approval to Constellation as soon as received so I can be REINSTATED to my original contract of 8.99 until Dec. 2024.

Please inform me when the hardship has been removed.

Obvious overcharging

How is it possible that my bills increase monthly and are so ridiculously high when I am not even staying at the apartment with eversource service. When Im out of state for two weeks out of the month my bills increase.

I dont use the oven, I dont do laundry, I dont have WiFi or any tvs, electronics hooked up or plugged in, I do nothing here, I dont even use the lights! Even when Im in state I barely stay at this apartment for various reasons yet my bills increase, I dont use electricity here yet they just increased again, it doesnt matter if I call. It simply is not possible; your agents can ramble off all the bs in the world they want to me about checking the meter, any moron can figure if they dont use something then its not impacting electricity. The only thing I have consistently plugged in is a small (less than traditional size fridge) that is all.

Ive never used the dishwasher here even. This is not possible. I am clearly being taken advantage of and being stolen from and it is disgusting. I DONT DO LAUNDRY!

NO OVEN NO STOVE NO TV NO ELECTRONICS, IM NOT HERE! WTF AM I PAYING FOR???!? I KNOW ITS ALL A LOAD OF *** AND IT WILL STOP, IM NOT PAYING $250 a month for an apartment where one person stays maybe a week out of the month- maybe get your facts straight before making it so obvious youre ripping people off who are suffering tremendously. What kind of sick fraudulent practices are these?

Am I supposed to blindly pay hundreds of dollars that increase the less I am here and the less I use. I purposely use less and less here for this reason yet bills rise, ya ok. How about I just give my entirety to eversource since I was forced to make accounts with them and lied to about this horrible apartment complex. Is anything else you can take from me?

What else can I give to you, or do you only prefer to steal and rob the disadvantaged and make it as obvious as possible. How can you even get away with scamming me to this extent. I DONT STAY AT THIS LOCATION OR USE THE ELECTRICITY. Lack of email or chat customer service is annoying

I've been trying to reach Eversource to close my electric account for 2 weeks. All I keep getting is their AI bot that can't understand anything, then dumping me into an endless queue to wait to speak to someone.

This is ridiculous.

I don't have hours on end to spend on hold whilst waiting to speak to someone. It's 2024, please provide other methods of reaching customer service besides the phone.

I Couldn't Deposit My Eversource Refund Check -- Can't Get Anyone on the Phone!

I received a refund check and when I tried to deposit it, it got returned. Every time I call I end up waiting for so long (typically over an hour) I eventually hang up. I get this sense they really do not want to talk to customers and I very disappointed
